The Southwest School of Botanical Medicine is an indespensible herbal resource where you can find pictures of medicinal herbs as well as LOTS of useful information. The actual school is located in Bisbee, Arizona, U.S.A.
This site is a very thorough list of herbalism links. No actual information is provided here. This is a guide to many different sites where you can find out just about anything that you need to know about herbalism.
The Rocky Mountain Herbal Institute provides a world history of herbalism that gives a lot of good background information.
